ISO 9001 – Sistem Manajemen Mutu

ISO 9000 adalah serangkaian standar untuk Sistem Manajemen Mutu. Sedangkan ISO 9001 dimaksudkan untuk tujuan sertifikasi, ISO 9000 dan ISO 9004 memberikan kosa kata dan pedoman masing-masing. Revisi terbaru dari standar tersebut telah dilakukan pada bulan September 2015. ISO 9001 (Versi 2000) menggantikan versi lama (versi 1994) ISO 9001, ISO 9002 dan ISO 9003. Kini, edisi 5 standar (ISO 9001: 2015) menggantikan ISO 9001: 2008.

ISO 9001: 2015 didasarkan pada tujuh prinsip manajemen mutu yang baru dan dimodelkan pada 'pendekatan proses'. Ini menganjurkan siklus P-D-C-A (Plan-Do-Check-Act) untuk peningkatan berkesinambungan dan kepuasan pelanggan. Sertifikasi ISO 9001: 2015 adalah untuk sistem manajemen mutu, dan BUKAN skema sertifikasi produk.

ISO 9001 – Quality Management System

ISO 9000 is a series of standards for Quality Management System. While ISO 9001 is meant for certification purpose, ISO 9000 and ISO 9004 provide vocabulary and guidelines respectively.
